How the math works

This calculator stacks every active 2026 Ontario HVAC rebate based on your inputs. It uses real program rules, not marketing fluff:

  • HRS (Home Renovation Savings) — provincial rebate administered through Enbridge. $250–$7,500 depending on equipment. Replaced HER+ in January 2025.
  • OHPA (Oil to Heat Pump Affordability) — federal program, up to $15,000 for oil-to-heat-pump conversions. Stacks with HRS.
  • Canada Greener Homes Loan — up to $40,000 interest-free financing over 10 years. Not a rebate; a financing option for whatever's left after rebates.
  • Local utility incentives — Enbridge, Hydro One, Save on Energy. $50–$500 typical, varies by program year.

For the full breakdown of each program — including eligibility rules, application process, and common mistakes — see our Ontario HVAC Rebates 2026 guide.

This is an estimate, not a quote. Actual rebate amounts depend on specific equipment chosen, eligibility verification, and current program rules. Programs can change at any time. We file every applicable rebate on every eligible install — book a free in-home consultation for exact numbers.
