About us

Local. Licensed. No high-pressure sales.

Georgetown HVAC is a heating and cooling company built around one principle: do the work properly, explain it honestly, and treat homeowners the way we'd want our own family treated.

Our approach

Most HVAC problems aren't complicated. The complications come from companies that benefit from confusion — vague quotes, surprise add-ons, scare tactics about safety issues that aren't really issues, and pressure to replace equipment that just needs a $300 part.

We work the other way. Diagnostic calls get a flat fee that we waive if you go ahead with the recommended repair. Quotes are itemized, fixed, and given before any work starts. If a piece of equipment can be repaired economically, we repair it. If it's at end-of-life and pouring money out the chimney, we'll lay out the math on replacement honestly — including which Ontario rebates apply and what the realistic operating cost difference is over five years.

Our technicians are TSSA-certified gas fitters, College of Trades certified for refrigeration and AC work, and members of HRAI (the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada). We're fully insured and WSIB-compliant. We carry common parts on our trucks so the majority of repair calls are completed in a single visit.

What we won't do

Pressure you on a same-day decision

Replacing a furnace or AC is a 5-figure decision. You shouldn't have to make it under duress. Our quotes are valid for 30 days and our technicians don't earn commission. Take the time you need.

Push the most expensive option

We present 2–3 options at different price points. Each has clear pricing, clear rebate eligibility, and clear long-term operating cost math. Your situation determines what's right — not our margin.

Charge surprise fees

Diagnostic fee is flat. Repair quote is fixed. If we hit something unexpected mid-repair, we stop and talk to you before continuing. No envelope-of-shock at the end of the visit.

Cut corners on permits

HVAC installations require Halton Hills building permits and TSSA gas inspections. We pull both. Skipping permits saves a few dollars upfront but voids manufacturer warranties and can cause real problems on resale.

Skip the rebate paperwork

Every eligible install gets the full Ontario rebate stack applied. We file the forms, coordinate the EnerGuide assessments, and follow up until the cheque arrives. You shouldn't lose $5,000 because forms are confusing.

Oversize your equipment

Most HVAC equipment in Halton Hills homes is oversized by 20–40%. We do a proper Manual J load calculation on every install. Right-sizing means longer cycles, better humidity control, lower operating cost, and longer equipment life.

Credentials

Verifiable, current, and required for the work we do.

  • TSSA-certified gas technicians — Every technician on our team holds a current Technical Standards and Safety Authority certification (G2 or G1). Verify any HVAC contractor's TSSA registration directly through the TSSA registry.
  • College of Trades certified — Refrigeration and AC mechanics (313A) for cooling work, separate from gas certification.
  • HRAI member — Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada — the industry trade association for HVAC contractors.
  • Fully licensed and insured — Liability insurance, work performed under proper permits, WSIB-compliant for all employees.
  • Manufacturer dealer designations — We hold premier and authorized dealer status with major HVAC manufacturers, which means access to extended warranties and direct factory support on equipment we install.
